Looks like I need these bolts, I'm assuming the stud/nuts go on the top (by the intake) but need confirmation as I can't find any pic's online as to where they go.

Based on what I see the PCV valve just inserts into the rubber grommet, no nut on the back side that goes into the valve cover, correct?

I've seen 2 style of PCV valves, 1 with the small hex nut & 1 with a larger one. I'm assuming there's no difference but would like to know what's the correct one.

As far as breathers I've seen chrome & non-chrome versions. Which one came right off the assembly line?

Looks like you got everything you need. 68 came with the shorter nut pcv. Mine is incorrect but I had it on the shelf and I plan on swapping it later. I went with the chrome breather. Not sure but it seems they could have come with either. I just thought the chrome would look nicer.

Studs belong in the bottom outside holes. They provide easy gasket/cover alignment.

I run these and they seal great on my Mopar Performance covers. I am unsure how they fit on stockers yet as I haven't installed them on my Runners original style covers, but they are awesome. They are silicone on both sides with a steel core to keep from crushing them. I simply lightly seated them and then redid it a bit after a few heat cycles. Cork gaskets suck azz!

Thanks! I will need to search for ones with the retainer clips.

Awesome thank you! I like the stock style, trying to bring my car back to stock as much as possible.

No problem man! I like the stock stuff too. The cork just can't do the job as they always leaked and are a pain in the ***. Those silicone ones are the cats meow.

On the PCV Valve, what's the locknut for? Based on the pictures I see just looks like all you do is just insert the PCV valve into the rubber grommet.

That is correct, earlier years used them. You don’t need it

I believe the chrome breather was for the performance engines, and black for the basic engines.

Rebel, where are you getting your OEM covers? Where does that picture come from, are those the ones you're getting? I have some of the same questions on covers and the other parts you mention to restore my 68 RR back to original.
