I have a 1969 Dodge Coronet two (2) door hard top that came equipped with a factory bench seat.

I obtained bucket seat's from a 1969 Dodge Super Bee two (2) door hard top.

What do I need to properly install the bucket seat's into my Coronet?

I have located the bracket's from several different vendor's.

I have been told that these bracket's are to be welded underneath the car, and I was also told that they are suppossed to be welded inside of the car.

The downside to this, is that I have been told several different way's to install this. I was also informed that there was a raised bracket that I had to purchase.

I feel this thread will be very useful for individual's who would like to perform this conversion correctly.

Has anyone done this? Can you please post picture's?

Thank's!

I did this n my 70 Coronet. Got the bracket for buckets welded them to the floor inside and brackets for the buddy seat at the same time.

Under the car already had the normal seat reenforcement brackets all cars have. Not sure what someone wouldhave meant by raised bracket?

I think the most important thing here is what is going to happen to the bench seat? Those things are in high demand.

I can get you pictures of the floor in my charger if need be. It is a bucket seat car and the floor is exposed.

I'm tackling the same task. If anyone has got pics of brackets etc I'd certainly be interested in seeing them.

Thanks!
