68 Charger Front brakes holding on(delayed)

excellent!

Well they hung a bit on the way to work today, but not as bad. Either way the master was the wrong one so its a win for now. I will look at the calipers and brake hoses next if it gets worse. Still I know which direction I am headed with it for sure!

The fact it gets worse the further I drive and the hotter it gets, I am leaning towards the calipers and hoses. That valve wouldn't know temp wise what's goin on in my mind.......Figure I will try the calipers and hoses as it can't hurt anyway being older. Aggravating that is for sure. Car sat for 4 years so its probably due for calipers and hoses and a fluid flush anyway.

Also check the push rod length as if the piston does not return all the way back to snap ring it will cause this as well

Make sure the calipers and mounts are nice and clean and rust free. Calipers need to move back and forth freely

I've got the slider type off of a 79 Cordoba, not the pin type. I just tried pushing the pistons in on both sides and using the pedal to push them out when they were not mounted and had no pads on them. The pistons were insanely hard to push in with a C clamp so I am going to replace the calipers and the hoses. They shouldn't take that much effort to push in so they may be sticking. The car sat for 4 years so this is probably the case. It makes sense. After pushing the pedal a few times and building pressure and heat they stick more and more. If anything, the rod is too short as it takes a bit of pedal travel to actuate the master. I may look at that after, but for now I need to get them to stop hanging so I can atleast drive the car.
