I want to install a sway bar on my 68, it didn't come with one. I have been sorting through a lot of issues with the car so I just want to make sure I have a 68 K Member and the right spindle (not sure that's the right term). I hope you can tell from the pictures if this is the correct year and will work with a 68 sway bar.
I can get more pictures if needed. If someone would post a picture of how yours is mounted I would appreciate it. I am confused on where the brackets mount?

Good news is that it looks like your lower control arms have the hole for the sway links, for the sway bar system. (drivers side in your pic does anyways-next to lower shock mount bolt). Also looking like you would need to find the brackets for the K-Frame and drill the holes. Obviously you'll also need the bar itself as well the sway bar links. Many aftermarket options as well.

Now here is an overhead shot of a '68 K frame without the sway bar. NOTE: The holes for the brackets are already there, though they were plugged up with crud,

Thanks for all the pictures, I'm not sure why my's not drilled. If all I have to do is drill the holes it will be no problem. Just have to make sure I get the right location.

I just put a Hellwig sway on the front of my Sport Satty. Very pleased with it.IMG_20130822_114751_184.jpg
