Todays prices on chargers he will get 20k plus all day long.

When/if he gets his mind right, he'll sell it... until then, fishing expedition.

it is the typical fishing where the price comes slowly down till the first one bites who really wants it.
Not very collecitble but still solid. I can see a price in the upper 20s compared to what some real rustbucket sell for

The real value here is that it’s complete, not all disassembled in boxes and half assed restored. All of the parts and pieces are there, in pretty good shape. Not a terribly desirable colour/top/interior combination but still a great candidate to fix and drive. But $36k is laughable. Once you tie into that rear window rust you’re in for a fairly deep restoration. The crunched quarter panel is the least of your worries.

Ok so let's say someone pays in the high twenty's. Does paint body, interior, any mechanicals? Has over 50k in it. No way. Seen better car's. Out there for that price. Still say 15-20 at best.

I can't support the asking price, but as has been mentioned, the car has a lot going for it. I've seen rust buckets asking $18K that are missing the entire interior and drive train. Chargers are insane the last few years.

Very nice? A car isn't VERY NICE if it has a crumpled fender; especially when that fender is on the rear of a 2nd generation charger-a car that has probably the most distinctive rear quarters in all of automotive history. I'd say 12K MAX...

That car need someone who really knows how to pull the quarter without inflicting more damage. Old school skills, and the proper equipment, which I suspect are getting harder to find.

Not sure if this meets forum rules or not but I am going to try it bc there is always someone looking for a 2nd gen Charger. $36K. This is not mine, I am not affiliated with this car at all, just thought there might be a member who would like to know about it.

Looks like a former Yakima, WA car. Belonged to a retired cop. He towed a Hemi ski boat with that car.

oh, nothing wrong with green.

My mom's 70 Charger R / T SE, had a crumpled rear quarter like that for years. My step dad bought an NOS quarter panel, and valence corner to fix the car,but it never got fixed until my friend bought the car in 1982. He had the quarter panel installed and repainted t

he car. Before and after the repair. It was the dreaded triple green combo too.
