Hi all,

I'm looking for a back seat for a 69 Coronet hardtop. I've got new vinyl, foam etc so I just need the frame. I've got the backrest so it's just the seat I'm looking to replace.

Are back seats from 68-70 Chargers, GTX's and Road Runners the same as my Coro?

Getting one shipped down to Australia is an expensive exercise so I wanna make sure I buy the right one.

Cheers
Scotty

ps... Rookie question... What the heck do the little seat belt clips that are screwed onto the bottom of the seats do? I know it'll be something simple but just looking at it has me stumped!

The 68-70 Coronet and Satellite are the same.4 door seats are different.I am about 95% sure 68-70 Charger is also the same.

One of my '69 Coronets has a complete set of seats, front & rear that came out of a '68 Charger. So, YES they are the same for those years at least. Just different covers on them.

The little seat belt clips are just that: you attach your seat belts to them to hold them in place when you are NOT wearing them. This photo is NOT the '68 seats, this is a different car with the original '69 seats in it.

Thanks for the info gents.

Now I've seen how those clips get used it makes perfect sense! I knew it'd be simple.
