I need to get my 69 roadrunner gauge bezel re-chromed and the gauges tested. The gauges look fine but i am told my factory in dash tach wont work with an upgraded electronic ignition. Since i am planning on going with electronic ignition I need some insight in whats needed for this mod and who's recommended to do the work and approx costs. Thanks!

Myself and some other folks here at FBBO have used Orna-metal out of Michigan for the plastic rechrome with great results. Nice folks, good price and great quality of work.

As far as the Tach goes...classic industries has them, that work with electronic ignition. Run one in my '69 bird with a MSD ignition:

Don't know off the top of my head, but you may be able to just use your old tach and use a tach adapter from some one like MSD or 4 seconds flat.

Good luck
