What is the trick to getting the bulb in the socket on the lite under the top over hang on the dash? There is no way I can hold it and turn it at the same time. Is there another bulb that will work in it? This is the biggest thing I need to get done on my interior. Any advice are tricks will help. Thanks Ronnie

Any body able to help me ??

The bulb socket is connected to the housing from the outside and pops out from the end of the housing after you remove it from the dash.

Pulled out by removing the 3 phillips screws

Pull out the bulb socket from the end of the housing by grasping and pushing at a slight angle (this should be easy as it's spring loaded) and change the bulb then reverse

Unless you only have one hand .. then I'd suggest getting a friend to help.

Thanks for the help!! Yours has a different bulb than mine had in it, mine is not a round one it is kinda long and it doesn't fit thru the hole in housing. What bulb is in yours? Thanks Again Ronnie

Here's another idea if you want to spend a little coin to protect your lens .. they are pricey but there may be other LEDs out there somewhere cheaper

Superbright LED replacments but they are 19.95 or 24.95 for the really bright ones
