70 roadrunner rear quarter

Need some help with the shape of my rear quarter, in particular the shape of panel in the square highlighted in the photo. As you can see I have used a long board and it shows up a hollow where the orange paint remains. Can anyone with a 70 rr discribe what their panel feels like. Maybe run a straight edge and tell me if this hollow is meant to be here. Any help appreciated.

I think that's right. I just checked my car on both sides with a straight edge and it tucks in a little behind the scoop. Then I dug out the original piece that I cut off and took a picture. The bottom is where the edge of the scoop starts (you can see the holes for the road runner script under the wood )

A mopar friend gave me the number of a guy with a 70 rr, I rang him and he is happy for me to visit and run my hands over his quarters.
