Haveing no luck finding one I'd even take a nice used one this is starting to be a head ache. The 70 super bee was allways my dream car and I know it's a one year body, but come on:angryfire: Please someone make good quality sheet metal for this car or I'm I just not looking in the right place?

Im looking for a tail panel myself. Mine is repairable but I would like to find a better one if possible. I havent found anyone repopping them yet. My guess is they will start as soon as I get mine finished. I guess the reproduction companies dont want to invest a lot of $$$ on tooling for the 70 models since its a 1yr. body. Just makes me think if they ever do start repopping these parts that they will be real expensive. Looks like they would at least start repopping the grills on 70 models. Oh & just try to find the little rubber strips for the bumper gaurds..... GOOD LUCK

there is one on the local craigslist... spokane WA. Posting id #3250365294. he says superbee/coronet, but there is no emblem or holes for an emblem for a superbee. I personally think $350 is a bit much.. but when ya need it ya need it. he has a number on the post

if you have not found as of yet,i have a very nice one from a `70 coronet. need to change the color of the black stripe and change it to red. no dings or bends. just add the BEE emblem, $350.00 plus the ride,patti.903-821-7339

$350 ain't bad price for those panels. I've been watching prices on these cars and searching for parts for years. I've had my 70 coronet "aka super bee clone" for going on 13 years now. Parts are extremely hard to find and way over priced. But if u wanna finished car, gotta bite the bullet and pull out the wallet.

I love these car's. I think they are one of the best designs chrysler ever came up with. Love em or hate em, but they always stand out...
I've had more people asking it it was a "GTO" than I care to discuss, lol. But they all say its an awesome looking car.

I'm still waiting for AMD to come out with the steel for these cars. There is a good supply of fiber glass parts. I think we can thank the wing car clones for the lack of coronet parts. I'm sure a lot of 70 coronets and super bee's were robbed of their fenders and sent to the scrap heap.. I myself am kinda interested in the rt stuff now "side scoops and tail panels" but the tail panels aren't easy to come by since the tail lights are different. I believe that they only came on the 500's and rt's. The regular tail panel came on the super bee and 440's.

Good luck with the parts hunting.

It was tried for the grilles but they weren't right so I think that went by the way side. I do have a drvers side grill that I repaired that I would get rid of for the right price.

I read somewhere here on one of the Internet sites........ that they were NOT going to make reproduction tail panel's, and as one of the previous poster's said, it would cost one heck of alot of coin, to build a die and have these restamped. They really do need to restamp them, hopefully they will get done. By the way.......... we are heading west sometime this weekend, and we will be looking for good used tail panel's, along with other part's for the 70 model's. If we find some nice stuff, we will be posting it on this B-body site.

No, Thanks anyway

I have three 70 super bee finish panels and 1 R/T panel. All of them are at various stages for restoration and some are nicer than others. Let me know what you need. Price varies on condition.

One of the bee panels is already painted and is a good driver panel.

here's a couple pics of the finished tail panels.

Those look really nice Mike. Wish I has some extra dough, I'd take both of them.

I have seen your panels on a few different boards I think and you do great work. These panels are one of the most sought after parts if you have a Bee or an R/T or a clone car. I had an R/T and mine had one small dent that I could fix and polish and it is a part everyone wishes they would make.

Start looking for used cars in junk yards I would try wild cat auto I think they have a few coronets listed in parts. They are good to deal with. Good luck on this its a bad area for Coronets to rust out at.

That looks amazing. What was your process for stripping the old paint? What new paint did you use?

6packMike has not been on here since 2021. So I don't think he will answer.
