I wanted to add a passenger side mirror to my 71. Ordered a repo mirror for 71-72 B bodies. New mirroe is very nice but it's the bullet style mirror with oval mirror. My original driver side mirror has round mirror, and looks like a 68-70 mirror, but the base is different.
Does anyone repo the 71 round style mirror.

If my downloaded copy of brochure is correct, it appears that the conventional mirror was not available for rr and GTX.

Show us the front side of your drivers side mirror so we can see what you have. Does it look like this? If so they are repopped and sold by most suppliers that sells Mopar Parts.

It doesn't exist manual round mirrors for passenger side for our 71 and lates B bodies. 65-70 B bodies and all A bodies accepts the driver side mirror to be "fitted" like a passenger side mirror due its nature being installed on an horizontal surface like all those models get, but 71 and lates B ( same as E bodies ) where the door is slopped not.

SO... the only option you get to be able to have a passenger side mirror on your 71 RR is get the Racing unit for both sides. Which btw is remote controled for driver side ( thats easy, door panel is precut to fit the joystick ).

Or get an aftermarket piece, which in any case will need to change also the driver side to match both sides. If you care

I did a search for 71 satellite 4door. Found one that looked like yours. Sale, free ground shipping, might not help you much though.

Lots of wagons had pass side mirrors.

In '67 it was standard equipment on a B body wagon.

Trailer package cars would also likely have them.

IT DOESN´T EXIST PASSENGER SIDE MANUAL ROUND MIRRORS FOR 71 AND LATES B BODIES!!!!

Not stock and matching with driver side at least.

It does exist Round mirrors for passenger side thought but matching a REMOTE driver side for sedans thought so the pedestal is diff. These are easier to be found on 75 and lates and the mounting is diff than the phillips screws

which would be this one initially used on C bodies... emulating the remote one used on earliers B bodies but pedestal shape matched to the slopped door change made since 71 on B bodies

passenger side

being matched with remote driver side

since 75, thicker pedestal and 3 attaching points with a stronger underside bracket. A change made on all Mirror options since that year

The 75 and later parts that look like 71-74 rallye mirrors have completely different mounts- three ball like protrusions with studs that require a matching set of dimples in the doors.

Agreed!

But the links I posted are earliers... the begining of the "fuselage body" era. Can't recall if they were used on 71/74 B bodies too! I guess on a 4 doors Coronet/Satellite with remote mirror option those would be the ones to be installed instead the racing kind

Thanks, might do that, If I can not find passenger side mirror the matches

Thanks I'll look at the 4 door models

4 doors models are pretty much the same than 2 doors as I mentioned. Just getting both sides will match since the 4 doors mirror is, like the racing style used on 2 doors, a deluxe/option equipment with a joystick control for the driver's door. Check the link of the C bodies I posted, which as far I can tell, were also optioned for B bodies when getting the remote system mirror option... Althought you could get just the driver side too on these.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/143733881936 You might have to unscrew your drivers mirror and see if it will work on the passenger side. They were the cheapest mirror available and rarely were added to the passenger side.

It won't. That's just posible on A bodies/pre-71 B bodies. No one car with "fuseleage" body style will accept that

It rarely was added to the passenger side because IT DOES NOT EXIST!

DAMN!

Thought I would update this thread. So the driver side round mirror can not be mounted on the passenger side, but was worth a shot. So since I wanted a passenger side mirror, and had already bought a manual RH racing mirror. I decided just to upgrade the LH side to a a racing style as well.
During the search for a repo round style. I found PG classics sells a manual LH side racing mirror, so I bought it so I won't have to punch the hole in my door panel for the remote. Thanks for everyone's help.

Just looking at it is too obvious is not posible... as I told.

The door and door panel are already made with holes for the remote system on driver's door. The door panel gets in fact pre cut the hole on cardboard panel, just to finish to open the hole. You wouldn't need to get worried about aligment and stuff for the hole.

If you still don't want to cut your factory panel, get one used with the hole open or any other still not open and opem that one. Pretty sure you'll find one.

Never have known about racing LH mirror being manual.

Just for your interest, the remote system can be handled manually too. Pushing the mirror will also set the position.

I know about the pre-cut hole, I prefer the look without the little remote joystick sticking out of the door panel. when I found the manual LH manual racing mirror It worked for what I wanted.
