I have used the old Hurst lightning rods on the last 2 race cars and also on the street . Reverse or forward pattern they worked great and everyone asks what they are ? Heck of a conversation starter. pull one lever get the next gear....

Back in the late 80's early 90's there was a Buick locally with those lightening sticks. Loved those.

yep, i have one thats either forward or reverse and the other is just straight up reverse and they both enter from the back of the tranny.

Mine was a forward pattern originally, had to buy the reverse gate when I went reverse pattern - great shifter, nice big cable, never liked B&M stuff.

I have the Cheetah shifter.
But since sometimes I leave my hand on the lever or hit it too hard into 2nd, it will go First to Third...LOL

That's only downside otherwise a durable efficient shifter.

But personally, I don't want to look down at what I'm doing so my shifter is...on the column.
