Got the axle bearings packed, installed and adjusted. E-brake cables in. All the small parts, drums, and cross members painted. Lots of little parts take time but worth it.

Drums on and brakes adjusted. Bilsteins installed. Little things like brake cables and lines connected. Ready to move to the front.

T2R9 - what's the part number for the Bilstein's? And do you have them on the front as well?
Rears are 55-R093, same as I have on my 72. The front will get them as well. PST has the best price with a FBBO 10% discount.

Installed the rear sway bar. Found NOS bushings for the end link square side on the bar. What a PITA to install. Hot water, channel locks and lube got it done. I use Energy Suspension frame bushings and end links to the spring brackets.

Back to the 74 now that the 70 is pretty much ready to go.

Automatic tear down. 71 383HP transmission, pretty crusty on the outside but really good shape internally.

What did you use to clean up the outside?
Mineral spirits in my parts washer, case was a tight fit, made a mess on the floor, lol. Then a good wash with dawn blue dish soap
