8-3/4" axle ratio?

Forgot to add 11 teeth on pinion
So if my calculations are correct, we're looking at 3.91 gears.

Unfortunately all that for gears you're not interested in! Sorry, We tried!

You are correct sir! 43/11 = 3.91 gears & that is a non-posi center section. Honestly, you can probably sell those gears since they don't look chewed up at all.

I REALLY appreciate your offer to give them to me for free if they were 2.76's, but I think someone else would like those 3.91's in a posi center section for sure. The ring/pinion will bolt right up to someone else's 489 case sure-grip pumpkin no problem.

Also, if you look closely at the ring gear, somewhere on there it should be stamped "3.91" and people like to see that stamp when they buy gears. Just turn it a little bit & take a picture.

Cranky,

You are so precise!! Lol!!

Like I said purple.. we tried. I'll probably hang onto the gears unless someone bugs the heck out of me cause they have to have em. Lol!!

The gear oil pretty much like sludge. I quickly looked for stamp but didn't see. I'll keep looking.

If I hear of anyone with the 2.76's you need I'll let you know. Couple mopar guys around that got shelves of stuff!!

Think I have a 2.76 or a 2.94 but man, at 80 lbs, shipping bites!

Your looking for this

Yep, after wiping sludge away, found the stamp! 3.91! Thanks!

I might be willing to trade for some 3.73's at some point. If anyone wanted to. As Cranky said isn't cheap to ship!! But for me to keep and install it's not enough change from 4.10 (what I have now) to 3.91's to be worth the hassle!
