FOR SALE 8 3/4 center section 3.58

I have a 8 3/4 center section ,741 case from a B-body car. The gears are marked 2070301-3.58-1. 9-17-62. I have been told it is a Power-Lok clutch type diff.
I installed this in my car and ran it to 100 mph with zero issues.
I removed it and installed the 3.23 back in. (Too steep for me).

Never heard of 3.58. It may be a 3.55. If so,, it's not that much different from your 3.23.Looking at the ring gear thickness, that looks like 3.91 to me.
Count the actual teeth, don't go by numbers stamped on the gear.
And that is the good clutch suregrip.

Yep, there is a thread on fabo about 3.58. It’s definitely steeper then the 3.23’s
