Any ideas on water pumps for cast iron housing

440 eng hi po street,factory water pump housing,whats a good pump to keep it cool? Thanks

Mopar Performance makes a High Volume water pump MRE86800 $79.95 Mancini racing... that works well... Milidon make one too...

Make sure before you install it measure the depth, of the area where the pump goes, some housing aren't as deep as others & will have an interference with the pump hosing & water pump blades, at the back of the housing... cheap insurace

And don't forget to check clearance with the gasket in place. Not having the gasket might fool you into thinking there is a problem. If I recall there is usually plenty of room so the impeller may not even hit without the gasket.
