anyone with experience able to shed some light

my 68 charger i have a custom made hemi oval scoop on my dual quad 505, the back of the air cleaner just hits the fibreglass hood,
i was thinking maybe grafting a bulge onto the hood, anyone have any suggestions or know where i can buy a bulge?

I don't know what kinda "bulge" would look right on a hemi Charger.Would you concider the hemi scoop?

funny you mention that i actually have a 4.5" high hemi scoop here but when i sit it on the car it just looks so ridiculous haha, definetly more suited to a bodies i think.

i was thinking something like the 70's charger or superbee bulges maybe

There's been one kicking around on ebay au for a while now, 70 or 80 with a 'slit' style scoop. Might be worth a look. Search for mopar scoop I think.
