I would say pre rut right now. Usually they really start moving around that 2nd week of November.

I’ve got a great pic from last years rut that basically says it all.
He says yes and she isn’t hearing it! 2 days later he ran into a speeding bullet!

getting close got us now to the gun opener, weather being more fall like then winter . i’ll check the trail cams tomorrow see who been running the hill . had a biggen go thru last week but not busy out there last i looked. it’s been 10 days so a lot has changed i’d bet …

I miss deer season. I have some land south of Buffalo right on PA state line. Bolivar NY. Used to be 20 guys every year but the old guys are all gone now and none of us survivors can seem to get there at the same time anymore.
