Looking at the photos of the "Jayhawker", it looks like the rear axle was moved forward, but the front remained stock position with leaf springs. I think I've seen picts with both a K frame....and leaf springs. Maybe it ran both ways???? Is that true?

If so, how much was the front moved? True AWB B's are 15 rear, 10 front.

If moving rear only....maybe a 10" rear move, with 0 up front would be appropriate?

Any ideas? comments? I'm still hung up on the front. I cant decide on an Econoline straight axle (have it) or the factory K member move.

thanks

If your going 10 might as well go the 15 I think it'll look better. Here's the Funny Car when just the rear was moved, they went 16in.

Great picts. thanks. It looks like they use a straight axle, even when keeping the stock position up front.

Another issue is the "raise" front end look. I'd like to go higher, but cranking the Tbars up that high isn't something I'd like to do.

Is there another way to raise the right height with a stock K frame?

Funny Car and Plymouth a Go Go still had stock K members. The straight axle gig is pretty straight forward the best route if you want to get 10in. in the front is to find a trailer builder and find springs and hangers to get the best lenghth for leaf springs..
