I bought a beautiful 1968 yellow charger in 1985, and raised four kids thru 2001 before I had a brain cramp and sold it. We were building a house, and cash was running out. After the house was done, I realized I could have gotten by. but too late. I still had my other 68 I bought in 1985, but the yellow car was a sweetheart. 318 automatic and factory A/C. It broght us back from Arizona to nebraska, then to Houston, then To Iowa. it hauled all four kids and my wife over many states.
Then, a good friend of mine had aquired his fathers charger in 2010. it had been setting god only knows how long. But he brought it back, got it running perfectly. The car had been in his family 48 years. A couple weeks ago the topic came up to sell, and I was stunned. But, as of yesterday I now have another yellow and black 68 Charger.
it is a factory 383 and four speed with console, 3:91 limited slip rear. original warranty card, fender tag, and build sheet.about half the paint is original, as is the top. the previous owner did a high quality job of replacing the trunk floor, and the rest of the car is as it was when parked many years ago. So I went to look at it again today, and I am still stunned that after 20 years I have another. Life is good.
