Split Bench Seat w/headrestUpholstery
I have a 1969 RR with bucket seats that I want to replace with an I bench seat w/headrest. I already purchased the split bench seat w/headrest and the foam is in good condition. What I need to do is replace the upholstery/cover.
Questions:
--Where can I purchase a good fitting cover?
--Can someone provide me with some tricks (of the trade) on how to put it on. This is my first time doing this.
--Tools and whatever else I’ll need.

Also, the buckets are for sale, there is excellent condition and there are for a 69RR ($450.00)

Having tried to recover a bench seat myself once before I would take it to a professional. I fought with that thing for hours before I finally threw the hog ring pliers away. I could never get it to look right.

Dont order direct from Lengendary, buy it through Dante's as its cheaper then direct. The backs i thought were the toughest to get the cover slid over and positioned.I slid a plastic garbage bag over it 1st then the cover, this way the cover will slide and its easier to get into position. Its not rocket science just take your time and make sure you pull it tight before you hog ring it to keep the wrinkles out.

Follow the recommendation of laying each cover out in the sun prior to installing. This makes all the difference in the world as to ease of installation!

Thank you for all the responses; I purchased the cover from Legendary and had a pro do it.
It came out great, better than I could have imagined, tight, straight and probably the best 250.00 I’ve spent.
