What the rpm,s at 65mph with the 3:55?Like 2012 said there can be variables that affect what you want. However, I had 3.23 on my Roadrunner and didn't like them. Swapped out for 3.55 and can't be happier. Gives the pop from throttle off the line but it's not rapped out on the highway.
Use this calculator to try and find what you're looking for, 727 gear ratio is 1:0What the rpm,s at 65mph with the 3:55?

I got 4.10's with my new strange s60These guys are all nuttier than squirrel turds. 4.10's is all ya need.
Would that be a possible track time coming out of a 383? Also what cam do you have in your 440 could it work with my eninge? Also I'm just looking to get a port and polish job done and headers so would 12s be possibleI like my 3.55s also, at the track it runs mid 12s and cruises with traffic at 3000 rpms. Mild build 440 auto 4200 stall pump gas.
The cam I run I bought off ebay. I was just getting part together to run a solid roller. As far as I can remember it seemed like a cheater cam, it had the duration of a stock 6 pack cam but had 586 lift. The guy I bought it from said it was a custom grind from comp cams. The box he sent it in only had 2 or 3 more degrees of duration I believe so he didn't change much. I figured he was a nastalgic type racer. Porting the heads makes a big difference in performance to. I'm running edelbrock open chamber ootb.Would that be a possible track time coming out of a 383? Also what cam do you have in your 440 could it work with my eninge?
