Hi all, just looking for opinions here. Aside from Classic Ind. and Year One, where do you purchase your new mopar restoration parts? There are so many websites selling them and claiming to be "the best" for such a thing. Are there any you faithfully purchase from and vice versa, any you've had bad experiences with or avoid? Good prices? Good quality? Etc. I've got a laundry list of stuff I need and want to have my lists ready to go once Carlisle is over. I could literally spend days online browsing parts sites and comparing prices and I just don't have that kind of time. Any input here would be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance and see you all in Carlisle this weekend!

For the most part the restoration/reproduction parts all come from the same manufacturers. With the exception of a few things, BE&A is a good place and the owner is awesome. They carry a lot of stuff and are responsible for getting a lot of things reproduced for us. For gaskets and such Detroit Muscle Technologies, also if getting the roof rail gaskets, I think that is what they are called (the ones that seal up your side windows up top) spring for the expensive ones. I've got the cheap ones and they don't look like the originals and don't really seal either. Other than that, you are on this site look to your right and see all those flashy banners...support those guys, they are supporting us.

Tony's MOPAR Parts has a large inventory of NOS OEM and used parts. Not cheap but rare parts seldom are.

Look to the right.... ====================================================================================>

Some of us restore old parts to look better than new!
Absolutely! And that is the preferred method. I'm just speaking in terms of those hard to find parts when all else fails. As well as when new is necessary such as weatherstripping, decals, wiring etc. etc.

A lot of good information before this. Here are a few that I like.
Herb's Parts
Totally Auto
R/T Specialties
AMD
Brewers
I will double up on some already mentioned.
Detroit Muscle
B E & A
Tony's Parts
I don't buy much from the big 2, Year One & Classic Industry's. The personal touch and help doesn't exist there.

I agree, forgot to mention a.m.s. obsolete. Tony's Parts has good products and is responsible for some great reproduction things. I find his prices high, but you have to consider how long it's going to take you to find that prize somewhere else.

Stop by our booth in Carlisle and pickup one of our catalogs!

We are one of the few vendors left that actually brings parts to the shows....

A few others not mentioned are Bouchillon Performance for pulleys, water pumps, AC items (and other things too), Firm Feel and PST for suspension and steering, and a few times I have found some oddball fittings or small items from Jim’s auto parts when nobody else had it.

Thanks Rick! You guys are definitely on my list of vendors to come check out. See you a little later today!

I forgot about Jim at 521restorations, I got all my metal from him. Great dude. Also 440Source for various engine components, especially their Stealth heads if you are going that route. I love mine.

Admins,

If there isn't already a sticky for this info there should be. Unless it's considered free advertising to do so then I see why it's not a sticky.

Partsmix.com carries a lot of the parts you'll find at YO or CI and they are super easy to deal with and shipping is fast.

rtspecialties.net is another good one.
