Bitchin' Rides is ending!

Not surprised, even Roadkill didn’t surprise me with the new ownership. The same people have been messing and killing things on the DC comics tv side. Yes I’m into comics and POS old cars, don’t worry ladies I’m single!

They had a good run, but I'm just not interested in watching perfected show cars being build for millionaires.

I get sick of watching the same cars get re-invented each week....

"Tonight on Kindig Customs, we chop a 71 Chevelle and pitch in an LS motor." :jackoff: :jackoff: :jackoff:

Oh, BTW, I'm with @Kern Dog on the beard deal.

I upset a guy on site a few weeks ago with an even longer dork-beard....said he looked like a drug-dealer.

Not sure if he was pissed because I said that, or that I had called him out correctly. I suggested to the site manager we have regular drug tests for contractors also.

I always liked lowriderz but if the show came back they'd have find a new host! the old one is likely wide in the tooth!

I remember what they did to the 67 Dodge Coronet R/T. I lost all respect for Bitchin Rides since then.

One of the most "restrained" builds they've ever done, IIRC.

I liked Will Lockwood, the engineer on Bitchin Rides. He was always entertaining to watch and came up with a lot of well executed creative stuff. The time he almost dropped the mile long, early 60s convertible while mounting it on a rotisserie was pretty funny. He looked shell shocked and like he needed a stiff drink to get his wits back under control again. I liked the show for its good nature and lack of fake, manufactured drama. They also did really high quality work whether you like customs or not. I did like their more stockish projects more however and didn’t much care for a lot of the wilder customs like the 67 R/T.

Fantom works is entertaining but too much manufactured drama and problems. Some of the work they did was ridiculous like the time they cut the frame cross member out of a Superformance Cobra to replace the transmission. Apparently no one told them it had a removable tunnel for that purpose. And the brake tests were a joke - here’s your done car. You might need new tires. And his billing would eliminate me as a customer - very high.

Take a few windings out of the motors, like the slot car hot rod technique?
We did that back in the day when we raced them at commercial slot car tracks. God, that's a trip back.

Listen to the cadence of Kindig's voice every time he is in one of those scenes where he is sitting and speaking into the camera. It is JUST like Dan Short. The tone rises and falls a few times and then drops as the sentence ends. IT is really annoying once you notice it. It is surely how the scripts are written and those two follow to the letter. The YouTube guy from Dead Dodge Garage speaks the same way.

Dudes with stupid beards are annoying to look at. I see Kindig and I want to hold the dude down and cut his beard with a dull rock.
Dudes that wear a hat pulled down to their eyes with the ears tucked in? D O R K S. You can add that guy from Texas Metal to that list along with a few of those Street Outlaws guys.
X2,
Well now, that pretty much sums that up!! Well said...... Wearing a hat over your ears is like wearing your pants pulled up and your tits tucked in. That's not a bread, that a sickness on his face.

She's one of those that holds back!! LOL........... She's right!!

Will probably start making shows like 'How to Hot Rod your EV'.
I think the new show would be more like "How to take a Rod in your EV"... That said I never really got into any of the automotive shows as they always ended up scripting away from the cars and creating characters instead.

She holds her feelings back far too much. Like the time I picked up my brand new 472 Mopar Performance crate Hemi and unveiled it in the back of my truck! My holy grail moment in the Mopar hobby, and her response was,"that's just what I need around here, another f*ckin engine to trip over!" She can take the oxygen right out of any room! Lol

She's a fun hater like mine. :BangHead: :BangHead:

I guess that is her job, to keep me grounded! Too much fun can be a bad thing, right! In her defense, most women would not tolerate me or my cars!

We named my last boat, Why-O-Y. That's what she said when I said, I think we need a bigger boat. Two foot-itis

It looks like Freiburger is going back to his You Tube days. Maybe they can start a whole new channel with new content.
Whose Fryburger? Andy F? The guy who just told a Moparts member that all old Mopar engines leak and the the only way to get a leak free engine is to go To buy a Gen lll Hemi?
