They all look the same when they are parked together. And there were others scattered about. What happened to automotive styling?

They turned into appliances. A row of refrigerators would be just as exciting.

Someone at Car and Driver magazine once wrote; "The great thing Japan did for cars was make them into appliances, and the worst thing Japan did for cars was make them into appliances."

Well at least there is a blue one.
Just about every newer car on the road today is either white, black or gray.

My wife has a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus. It runs good with 2.0L turbocharged 4 cyl, and gets good mileage, about 30. Is comfortable to ride and drive. I tried to get her to get a red one, but she had to have white, just like everyone else.
Like her grandmother used to say, some people's taste is all in their mouths.

Cookie Cutter Designs!!! I happen to have one for my grocery getter, the gas mileage at 5.00=/gal is killing me at the pump if I drive my truck!!! Despite it looking like most of the others, I do like it for the most part...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

This is pathetic....

Do you want to eat bologna every day? Do you want to listen to the same song all the time? Wear the same color shirt?
I am so disappointed in how people just conform to the herd.
Black, silver, white.....
No way, man. Not for me. The wife won't drive a boring color and neither will I.
Even when my 2006 Dodge truck was totaled....

...at 36,000 miles, I needed another truck right away. I refused to buy a boring color. I almost flew to Arizona to get something. I stumbled upon my 2007 truck at a dealership 20 miles away. It was NOT listed in their inventory.....

It had a few things I didn't need but it was a great color....

ALL GREAT AND TRUE ^^^^^ POSTS !! Family and friends are amazed when I identify exactly what year car is pre- 90's, yet I tell them I can't discern any make of modern vehicles on the road today, with the exception of Challengers, Chargers, Camaros, and Mustangs. << Now, what does that exemplify ? There is no individualistic styling anymore.

Damn that bed looks so nice and comfortable, I could sleep on it !

Conformity. Don't get me started.

Did you know Chrysler (not Daimler, FCA, or Stellantis) was the last domestic automaker to offer a blue interior?

Black is the only interior available in the majority of automobiles today.

I've got a dealer brochure for 1973 Ford LTD someone gave me recently that shows 9 interior color choices and three seat fabrics. Can you imagine that today?

Had a 2000 Durango that I ordered new for the X and took delivery in Oct 99 and still liked the thing in 2017 when the X left with it. Gas mileage sucked but it did everything it was asked to do and did it well. Heck, I still like the styling of it today and with a 318, 3.9 gears, limited slip, trailer tow package and so on, it was a decent vehicle, had plenty of pep and it held up to the X until she blew a hose and didn't want to stop....never said she was a smart person.....
