i do not know what kind of rocker arms i need to get,i do know i want the roller tips.but 1.5 or 1.6 will be solid cam and lifters, steel crank and forged rods, in 69 rr.no racing.

You don't really need the rollers, if you don't have the budget $$$, the Ductile Iron Adjustable ones from Crane {like the old Max-Wedge Adj. Rockers} are in your budget & $300-$400 price range, I have had aluminum Crane Super Gold Rollers w/hardened shafts {about the same price range too/slightly more $$$} on many street engines for 10's of thousands of miles with no failures ever either, solid roller cams or solid lifter or hydraulic lifter cams... as long as you have the proper length push rods, for the camshaft type base circle on camshafts can vary that will change push rod lengths too & what valve spring pressures or valve lengths/installed heights, with the correct amount of threads sticking out of the bottom of the rockers, to get the proper oiling on the cups, in the top part of the push rods/rocker threaded adjusters {generally no more than 3 threads sticking out the bottom above the ball or will starve the tips for oil, break off the adjusters or wear them out quickly} & the proper shafts for the proper lubrication & installed all the parts properly... 1.6:1 rockers will give you 10% more gross valve lift basically than a 1.5:1 rocker, if you have the extra room & valve clearances...

I like to use a sturdy rocker, be it a roller tip or the iron adjustables. If you go with any real cam you will need more spring and that requires a stronger rocker and push rod. Not sure what you want to get out of your 440 but you won't need much to make it a nice driver.

I think depends on the spring psi.your going to be running If its a mild one say under 600 Id get the ones from 440 surce mines been on there going one 75000 mils with no trouble and I have my oil restriked!!with 400 lbs.open psi. if that helps.......Artie

A couple things to consider #1 quality brand, do not buy a cheap rocker because allot of them do not have correct geometry. #2 the bearing at the fulcrum isn't much of a benefit on Mopars due to the fact that they have direct oil pressure supplied to them and the material removed for the bearing weakens the rocker. I like Comp Cams Magnum rockers and Harland Sharps, I think the old school adjustable iron rockers are a good choice as well just don't go cheap.
