Faded carpet, scraped and fading door panel paint. I need some new paint, been looking at a few but haven't found any great ones. I don't want to just paint them black with spray paint I want the legit panel, carpet paint.

Seeing as this is a popular problem among old muscle cars you guys may know the best.

I don't want to replace the carpet just purty it up.

Thanks,

jake

Sem, thats whatcha want. Look it up and you'll be impressed, also used by the high end shops.

Summit racing shop is near my home and they will ship to my house free. They carry sem carpet paint but have 3 types of blacks. Landua, satin, and gloss black. I have black carpet. It doesn't have any gray it's just plain black. Which color would you recommend?

I used the Landua black because it was the only black available in quarts. I painted the rear seats with satin rattle cans. It matched the new Legendary seat covers perfect.

Here they have multiple colors, i'm just trying to figure out which color would work best for regular black interior? Also.. how much paint it's gunna take to do most of the carpet in my '73 charger.

*Saw your post on my other Thread. Thanks!

If you have a spray gun I would recommend getting a quart of the 15014 black. Just dump it in the gun and spray, it would be a much better route than spray cans. You will have more than enough left over, but you'll save a lot of time.
Summit has Landau black listed as flat, I thought it was gloss. If your going to use it for carpet it would be fine.
