You should not have to pump it alot when hot as normally you would flood it and after a hot soak it would really be flooded. How does it run after you pump it alot and get it started ? How long after shuting it down hot does it take when it wont start without pumping it ? In other words how long do you have to wait before it wont start when you shut it off after its hot ?
I can understand it could be a fuel pump problem but I would think you would have more trouble then just when starting hot. Almost sounds like a vapor lock type problem after a hot soak. Ron
