Cool. And rare. But....no.

30 large will get you a lot of car these days. It MIGHT sell for half that. The market just isn't there. Nice old convertibles are rare enough to be impressive on the street, but few get THAT kind of money.

I'm pretty sure those are not "brushed aluminium road wheels", they're the standard polyurethane sqishy wheels.

Bid to just over 12k on ebay. I would say that would be a fair price for this car.

Yep, but didn't sell. It went as high as $17,000 on the eBay auction that ended Feb. 11th. It's now relisted again. I do think it's one of the nicest custom convertibles I've seen for a body style that wasn't designed to have the roof off.
