can you tell who reprints the D.C book im looking for vintage 79 race bulletinsDirect connection book is available reprinted and CDROM.
About distributor... what year is the car ? and how correct you wanna make it for the year ? I think on the easier would be get any stock dist ( points or elect ) and install a pertronix Ignitor I or II in it... maybe even III if you want it more "seteable"
If you want it with external module, I'm happy with the Rev-N-Nator box. Being my car is 74, the stock look on these makes a GREAT piece for me. and is being triggered by a fully adjustable MP ( Mallory ) distributor.
These are my 2 cents on somehow stock look.

Hardly, much more complex than that. Here's some light reading on the subject.is no more than a another Mopar higjack with a Chebbbbby part LOL. Is just a more compact electronic ignition module
The GM one was definitely not a knockoff or copy of Mopar. It had some distinct advantages stock to stock. With todays technology, everything is pretty much on an even playing field. It does just boil down to your preference.it can get better performance or not ( at each one taste ), but I meant is the GM alternative for the Mopar stock ECU one.
