Do any B Body models have a turn signal "sound off" feature?

I know the fender mounted turn signals help one to remember to cancel the turn signals, but an audible "clickety-click" is also a good feature. Do any of our B Bodies (or A Bodies for that matter) use an audible turn signal warning?

The reason I ask, just replaced the combination switch on a 1996 Dodge Dakota that's been in the family since new. The new switch is sounding off, while the old one was not. Don't remember if the old one stop clicking some time along the way or if maybe it never incorporated the audible feature when new.

Thank you.

when you turn off the car and remove the key, any turn signal will turn off. Is feeded from acc circuit.

Then also with steering wheel straight if you turned on the turning light should be cancelled off. I know when changing lines can be not cancelled off. However since 70 The turning light system came with a new feature which is you don't need to engage the turning switch to indicate turning, simply applying some pressure to the lever ( up or down ) will turn on the turning lighs while you hold the lever. Once you change the line just loose the lever and will be on rest position again. This won't engage the canceling system.

the fender turning signals are actuall to get warning to the cars on the sides you will turn the car because cars side to side they won't be warned abot that, since sidemarkers don't blink... they are not really a signal to the driver.

Flasher is actually easy to heard when correctly mounted on their brackets, by resonance of the dash frame and brackets. If you have it hanging around ( tipicall to find ) is true makes harder to notice.

The switches don't make any noise, its all from the relay ... even on the Dakota ..

note:

a buzzer ( or any audible device ) can be added though, if you want. Depending of the load added by the buzzer, will require a relay or not, to not affect the blinking speed and the flasher life
