On what ?? cars , yes I will give a thumbs up, if I like it, or wave at a minimum anyway....

I don't think it is cool not to notice appreciation for your ride. I always give back a "thanks" wave or honk. When I could not see well and wifey drove, I really missed seeing the "thumbs up"....................................MO

I always give a thank you wave or a thumbs up if they are driving a nice classic.

concur Cornpatch .. I always acknowledge a compliment whether it's on the job, in casual talk, folks giving a thumbs up to what I'm driving, or comment at a gas stations, etc. Doesn't matter who they are, what they are driving, doing, what it's about, whatever. To me it's manners and courtesy.

I always wave when I notice, but bet I don't notice them all. Just a nice way of saying thankyou.

Someone taking time to show appreciation for my work? I'm doing something...saying (mouthing) a thanks, providing a smile and a nod, SOMETHING!

Absolutely! A real nice '57 Chevy was going the opposite way from me and as we passed, we gave each other a Thumbs up. If it's a classic or a custom, I'm all in. New Vette, Camaro, Mustang, Chally or any other "modern muscle", nah, not so much.

042.jpgdriving the 57 chev, it's like being in a frickin' parade...my '63 bev' ?...not too many thumbs -up!....I do think people in the "KNOW"(car people) know what I have & give a thumbs-up.
I always give a smile or one back at ya'.:sunny:

Only a Dick wouldn't acknowledge someone making an appropriate gesture towards their Mopar! WTF, we ain't Corvette owners! No offense Mitch!

I sure do. fells good that somebody else likes your ride.

 Yup!

I don't care what they're driving, either. Around here, seems like anyone in a classic waves to each other. Not much brand competetition like back in high school. I guess we've matured... somewhat.:laughing7:

I salute any nice old car, why Because I'm a car guy......... People at car shows are appreciative no matter what you drive. Were are all gear heads here, we all like to be appreciated....
