Do you acknowledge a thumbs up?

Absolutely, If someone acknowledges my car I'm grateful, same goes if I see a cool old car I'll give them a thumbs up regardless of make. After all you gotta be a fan of American muscle cars before you can be a Mopar enthusiast.

I do the smile and nod type thing:blob1:

I do the same, especially now since I have something to take out!! With knowing what goes into restoring a car I give everyone credit, Mopar doesn't have a lock on pride of ownership.

Yep, I give a thank you wave. I also give a thumbs up for any old car on the road.

Always return a thumbs up or wave from anyone. Lots of people love our old cars and we can use all the good will we can get from the general public when it comes to protecting our hobby from bad legislation etc. Be nice, wave, smile, answer questions, and leave people with a good impression of us old car guys.

 Yup!

I don't care what they're driving, either. Around here, seems like anyone in a classic waves to each other. Not much brand competetition like back in high school. I guess we've matured... somewhat.:laughing7:

Mopars get little love in WI., or maybe it's just me. I do know hardcore mopar guys appreciate them.
ok, this is funny,
I was at a "open house " car show last saturday in WI. most of the guys there said, "nice Dodge"! I said "it's a Plymouth":eusa_boohoo:, they said...."000...kkkkkaay"....like so what?

I always return the gesture, what ever it is....thumbs up, smile, wave, compliment, middle finger, etc. Haha

Mopars get little love here also on the East Coast. I still acknowledge appreciation when ever I can and how I can. I try to make a point of rewarding appreciation.

yup :thumbsup::icon_thumleft::icon_thumbdown::thefinger::VB toast::tiphat::wtg::yuk::urkidding::icon_thumleft:

always give the little 3 finger wave back with the hand on the wheel ....just makes ya feel good someone elese thinks your car is cool besides you

I wave and give the thumbs up whenever I see an old Mopar running on the road. I even turned around once 4 months ago and followed a yellow 1968 Roadrunner for a mile and ended up talking with the guy and sure enough he opened the hood and low and behold sat a 426 Hemi with chrome air cleaner. Really cool.

Yup. Anyone who likes my ride, I give 'em a thumbs up. I also wave at all other classic cars, no matter what the make... although the Italian & British car drivers almost never wave back. They're too grumpy from trying to keep their vehicles running.

Remember Ronnie Sox would thank everyone by saying hello, shaking their hands and always show manners. The right thing to do is always say thanks. But if you have a chevrolet then be understanding!

Is that why Sonny is always so crabby? or is it because we slap our left fist inside the back of our right elbow?:eusa_naughty:

I surely aknowledge a thumbs up with a nod or a slight waive
Gotta play it cool even though I appreciate the heck out of it

Fo Sho. i always gesture back somehow. with a hand or my right foot...

A thumbs up makes a nice day nicer and I do acknowledge it with a wave and if they are also driving a cool car (no matter what brand), I give the thumbs up too.
