I am now detailing all my 69 Charger door hardware. I bought new AMD glass and need to install the stainless rear trim that attaches to the glass. I bought the material to attach the trim to the glass. What is the best procedure to attach this before I bumble it up. Thanks.

Setting tape? Lay it across the trim piece slot, use a rubber mallet to either tap the glass into the slot or the trim onto the glass. Trim tape extra with a sharp exacto knife.

Can't find pics of me fixing the Bird's door glass, but same deal here... just a different part..

That's kind of how I envisioned doing it. I had troubles before on a truck and ended up using window weld to set it in the channel. I believe the problem was the setting tape was two thick and no way could I pound the channel onto the glass. That experience brought me here today to ask and revisit my past experience. I bought the setting tape from Detroit Muscle Technologies. https://www.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/ Past dealings with Jim there has always been good. So hopefully I will be on track. Thanks.

I cleaned the two stainless glass channels today. Man what a job. Took the better part of three hours to get all the old junk out. That setting tape was just like cement. Has to cut shave and scrape to get that crap all out.

My experience has been an exact ditto of yours...
It took me almost 2 hours to clean out the driver side channel...
I've ordered the tape from DMT
Thanks for posting this
