I have some repop sill plates that I bought about 5 years ago and as usual they are crap
and don't fit right. Who has the best fit and correctness available? For a 69' bee

I asked this question before. I've been told they were all from the same supplier and your best bet was to redo the originals. I do see classic industries sells an OER but I am not sure how they are. Who did you buys yours from so I don't make the same mistake?

My originals are missing parts from corrosion or I would reuse them vs the china crap. I guess I'm gonna work on the ones I have

I know of at least three different vendors of the sill plates and I stock two of them. The fit of both is about the same. The biggest difference is that one manufacture has them in a bright aluminum finish and the other vendor has them in a brushed finish which is more correct. As most of you already know, most reproduction pieces are not of the same quality of the original pieces. Unfortunately, I have never been able to locate a NOS set of the 68 to 70 B-Body sill plates that were for sell and have only seen one set in my 40 plus years of putting away parts.

If not able to find NOS. Second best is to locate a nice used set to get re anodized. I too have searched forever for NOS which is probably not going to happen but I sent my originals out and they look as good as new.(They were in excellent shape btw)

Last resort is repop.....
