electronic distributor convertion with msd box "need help"

i have a 69 satellite with a 318, i wanna add an electronic distributor with an msd 6a box.. my question is do i need the whole convertion kit or can i just put in an electronic distributor and wire up my msd box.. has anyone done this, any pointers??

i have an msd box and coil, i just need to get a distributer. do you know where i can find wiring instructions...

So is your question you want to use a distributor other than MSD?

yes i wanted to just use a stock 70's-80's mopar distributer??

My Duster has a 6A and electronic distributor. The two wired from the distributor go directly to the MSD. Two other wires from the MSD go to the coil. Hot power to the battery NOT THE COIL, and switched power inside some where.

I left the ballast resistor hooked up for looks, and shrink wrapped the coil wire in the main harness

Msd comes with the full destructions and you can go to there website for full destructions if yours didnt have them!!

On the tach output side of the MSD there should be a pig tail with a mini Molex connector and that goes to the magnetic pick up in the dizzy.
