I had at least 4 or 5 hurricanes that were predicted to be a bullseye over my house during this season, but thank God that most of them changed direction and the hits we got were weak (Marco) or not direct. Zeta looks like it's going to push a lot of water in, which is really the greatest threat to me, and the cone of uncertainty has me in the middle.
Seriously! By the time cold fronts come through, I shouldn't have to worry about hurricanes but here we go again!

I'll take this Zeta.

Please...........

Going for the win?

Are we really out of Greek letters already this season?

Two separate thoughts here: first, maybe cities shouldn't be built at sea level :realcrazy: second, I thought we were out of names, too, but...

I was saying that back in the 70's..... No way I'd be at sea level in a common hurricane path.... I'll stick to earthquakes...

BTW Good Luck, hope it turns & misses you....

Omega-

DOH!

Stay safe, what affects you usually isn't good for us either. May the guy behind the wheel will turn it again. God Bless.

Just as a FYI, N.O. happens to be at a 10' below sea level, I can't speak for Bio's altitude. Stay safe Bio!

Stay safe down there in the wild....hopefully it won't be as bad as predicted. :)

I'm in contract to buy a place on the lakefront in Mandeville. Hoping these storms all finish before Nov 17.

I'll take this Zeta.

Please..........
Careful....THAT one has been linked to throat cancer. You'd be at risk of you were into oral activities....
Bio, That is some tough luck, friend. Stay strong.

just don’t have him turn it towards Pensacola, we’re still rebuilding and cleaning up from that bitch Sally.

Thanks.
I would have to look it up, but unlike New Orleans, I have no levee protection and winds blowing out of the southeast toward the northwest push water into the
Lake
Bayous
Yard...
I'll be watching it and move the few things that haven't stayed moved up above ground level.
My Roadrunner will likely be on the ramp to the attached garage, high enough to avoid mild flooding of a couple of feet, but stuck in the rain.
This one is moving fast, so by Wednesday I'll know what's up for sure, possibly Tuesday afternoon or night.
Thanks, seriously, for prayers and well wishes.

Good luck bro.............Hard to get anything done when you gotta keep watching the weather channel.

Well, I'm bringing my Roadrunner to my best friend and Mopar brother's garage to his house this evening. We have to push a Chrysler Conquest TSi project car out of the "airplane hangar" looking garage and back in, but at least my Roadrunner won't be out in the rain and wind, or endangered by whatever water comes up. The hurricane is fast moving, so that's great, so I'm just getting stuff prepped today, and hopefully by Thursday afternoon it'll be over.
Saturday afternoon, since it will be at his garage, I'm going to use his lift and his help and see if I can figure out what is keeping the hydraulic clutch from disengaging all the way.
