Are you referring to the sealer?.....You cant be talking about the steel portion I hope....

the actual drip rail mouldings it self,i heard that recently i thought that will make installing vinyl top more difficult just asking.thanks
 
Ohh my oh my....

FYI....all metal on the body was completely assembled in the metal shop at the factory prior to assembly...

Just think about the factory process Mopar did back then....

I believe the vinyl was put on first then the moldings because when I pulled mine apart the vinyl was partially tucked under the molding. The molding snapped over the vinyl and helped secure it to the drip rail.

Also the drip rail moldings for a vinyl top car are different than they are for a non vinyl top car.
