Front bench rail question

I’m installing a (front) bench seat in my 69RR,
I’ve taken the rails off the seat and I’m ready to
paint them. Question: I know the color is black,
but what is the correct black, satin, flat,
semi-gloss or gloss.

Just in case anyone needs to know, the answer to the question is, "Satin" in the old days it was called semi-gloss.
