Good Quality Rotor for OEM Electronic Distributor?

The rotor that came with my small block "replacement" distributor is terrible. The center spring contact is much thinner than it should be and is likely the wrong alloy and hardness. The result is that the contact gets easily deformed when positioning and clamping the cap to the distributor. I lost spark after having my cap off and when I removed the cap found the rotor contact bent down and pushed off-center. Other than Accel, are there brands of rotors any of you have found that are closer to OEM quality or better?

Quality parts are hard to find these days.Do yourself a favor and try to find the old stock Accel cap and rotor combo. They were the factory color tan cap with copper inserts along with a good quality rotor. I will look to see if I have one but I'm pretty sure it's for a slant 6.Richard Ehrenberg from Mopar Action Magazine sells NOS and quality parts on ebay for another source.

I have a bunch of tan MP caps new old stock military surplus if needed. Just took the add down.

Find NOS OEM, or NOS Prestolite.

Prestolite made the ignition cap and rotor for MoPar.

Thanks guys. I'll check first for the "Standard" brand rotor at sources near me given my need is immediate. But, I'm also interested in getting an extra or 2. Before I use eBay, what do you have HALIFAX? Cap and rotor or just rotor. Just PM me here.

All of it. Hit Napa up also the Echlin stuff is good also. USUALLY!

Yep, I'm still a big fan of the Accel stuff. VERY well made and looks a lot like original!

Not to dampen the Mood but suggest problem is in cap placement not the rotor
