The infamous flux capacitor. Don't leave home without it or should I say, you can't leave home without it.

Be careful if you purchase one of these. I'm not sure that some of these weren't "seconds".

After hooking mine up, setting the parameters, and hitting the button, the stupid thing only kicked my car 10 feet down the driveway! To add insult to injury, it did indeed, take me back in time, but just far enough back that my once-beautiful driveway hasn't even been paved yet!

This must be a sick joke, I only see this slick female connector, which is probably the perfect size for Mr. Richard Cranium or these various plugs that lord knows were they are supposed to be inserted.:poke:

Brought to you by the Good Humor Man RC.:luvplace:

Made me look, I should have known better. LMAO, thanks RC.

Someone at O'Reillys has a sense of humor. Wonder what the part number is for a muffler bearing?

Detailed Description

  • Time Travel at your own RISK!
  • Plutonium is required to properly operate the flux capacitor
    • Plutonium is used by the onboard nuclear reactor which then powers the flux capacitor to provide the needed 1.21 gigawatts of electrical power.
    • Plutonium not available and O'Reilly Auto Parts. Please contact your local plutonium supplier.
  • Flux capacitor requires the stainless steel body of a 1981-1983 DeLorean DMC-12 to properly function.
    • Once the time machine travels at 88 mph (142 km/h), light coming from the flux capacitor pulses until it becomes a steady stream of light at which point time travel begins!

I had one of these back in 1985. I wound up selling it. To some guy named Biff Tanner.

Shouldn't this be posted in the "Electrical and Ignition" forum?

I bet Ray (halifaxhops) has some NOS or NORS ones on his shelf. Probably low serial numbered units at that!

Year One shows them on back order; listed right after air cleaner pie pans.
