The rear corner trim piece appears to be attached with two rail screw/nut hardware which is a bit flimsy to me. After looking at the end of the trim attach I noticed two holes. Was wondering if there is some type of clip that was used there to secure that end piece? If not what are those holes used for?
Thanks in advance for your help on this.

The tab in the jamb should have a hole for a screw to secure it.

What is the origin of the trim? Original or aftermarket?

Thanks. It’s aftermarket.

What was there when you removed it?

I didn’t remove it. What made you think I did?
Nothing. It was missing this part. I’ve documented pretty much every part in this car before I disassembled it. Now it’s about 99% assembled all parts accounted for just a few pieces of missing trim.

You just said you reassembled it but you’ll figure out or get a FSM

sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Just about enough clearance but do need to move the whole trunk assembly over an 1/8”. Tried shoving it like other mentioned but it real doesn’t move. Looks like a minor adjustment with the screws loose?
