Our Denny's restaurants out here in California are offering their Grand Slam breakfast, to all military veterans today.
Took them up on the offer.
Did my mile walk over there this morning.

I took Chili's up on their offer for a free Oldtimer w/Cheese and fries yesterday. The burger was good but the acknowledging nods that the vets were sharing with one-another was much more special.

WOW, good for them. Thanks for posting that. Granted I think all schools should have the day off to honor this special day, but this is what needs to happen in all the schools.
