68chicken welcome to the FBBO forum, good to have you here, love them RR's.

welcom chicken are you in any way relaeted to the chicken that had the dragcar streetcar that raced all over the state.that was a unaversaty of md project car.that was the fastest street car I have ever seen on the streets of md.and on the tags of this car siad chicken.( the car ran mid 9s in the 80s and back then was very impressive...Artie

Sorry Atrie , not me. However I did have the baddest 68 RR 383 4spd on the parking lot at Suitland H.S. Prince Georges County Md in the early 70's. Every guy wants his original sweetheart back, now doesnt he? Should have kept that one , but this one is better optioned.

welcome to the site nice runner i like how the full wheel covers look on it.

Thats the original color JJ1 Gold. Also wheel covers are just on the rollers. They are off my Sallelite parts car . I have all 5 steel wheels with dog dishes..This car will look just like it did when it was new , or bust

Whats the red hot rod sitting next to that old girl in the first pic. Not a B body but interesting....

Great job so far man, have at it.

Now that's a garage...

Car looks great, too.

Welcome to the site, love the `68's and yours is going to be a real beauty! Keep us posted on your progress. There are quite a few of us restoring these `68-9 Birds on this forum, myself included, an LL1 4spd post coupe.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the warm reception, I knew you guys were awsome. The other car in my shop is my 1960 Corvette Fuelie Car I have owned for 35yrs and restored about 30 years ago. I have owened other Mopars before, 1965 Barracuda 273 4spd , 1968 Roadrunner 383 4spd (high school sweetheart) ,1969 A12 Superbee. 1970 Dart Swinger 225 A/T. The Roadrunner project is coming along. All the suspension parts and differential are powdercoated for protection. Have the rebuilt heaterbox in now , and just finished restoring dashboard , including tach update , guages and all switches. Working on swingpetals and emerg brk and booster this week . I will post more pics.
