HOLY COW!! IT'S a Sale

Started mowing yards for 2 bucks per in around September of 63 when I was 12. Went to work with dad in the summer of 65 building houses making 30 bucks a week. Better than mowing yards but didn't have any time to get into trouble. By the summer of 69, I was averaging 5 bucks an hour subcontracting from dad. I remember seeing a new 66 iirc Corvette Coupe on the show room floor and was shocked at the 6k+ price that was on it.

It’s complicated. That’s a huge understatement. I spent a lot of money on school to learn how the process works. All players in the system like to spend more than they bring in. Like musical chairs, just don’t get caught standing when the music stops. The key to beating the system is spending less than you bring in, legal tax avoidance, and tax deferred return on your financial assets.
Rental properties investments but you have to do all the work yourself. From 1996 to 2006 in Phoenix area with little start up cash . I became a millionaire. Retired at 48 but still play in it. I spend summers on the river in my Midwest home. Thanks

Go buy a Hellcat today. In fifty years it will be a great deal. Matter of fact, buy two.

you have to do all the work yourself.
Another important part of the process. Even when I worked for a corporate employer, I found that the less I delegated, the better I did. When that gig ended, I was self employed for the last 16 years. Nearly bought the company I contracted with, now glad it didn't happen. It was nice not having to deal with employees, and when I decided to hang it up three years ago, there were no liquidity problems.

Inflation works in your favor if your assets are increasing in value faster than expenses.

1 ounce of gold in 1920 was $20. Today its almost $3000. Thats the shrinkage of the dollars buying power.

Here is a side question for y'all -
What started to drive prices for everthing higher ?
I believe it is because people just can't live within their means. If they my $100k a year, they will spend $120k
Momma said that credit cards are the Devil.
Thoughts ?
Momma is right. One of the primary causes is the ease/availability of plastic money, and the ensuing gangster interest rates which accompany same.
