The original posting should have read a little clearer that the transmission is not included. It’s everything in the pic but the trans. Shifter, linkage, handle, white ball etc. Sorry about that.

You’re right it’s not 100% clear. It’s everything but the transmission is what I was trying to say.

Is the shifter mechanism part number in that kit 3914076? Is that what is stamped on the mechanism? 3916789 is the part number the shifter, ball, and mechanism combo I think. Just trying to figure out if this is the same mechanism I have on back order at summit right now.

Steve, I have been working out of town and should be home Tues evening. I’ll look then. As you noted this is the mechanism, shift lever and ball that makes up the 3916789 Competition Plus package.

@Steve009 I looked at the shifter mechanism and don’t see an obvious assembly number. The levers all have part numbers stamped on them but I don’t see the 3914076 number (or any similar number) on the housing. The kits are the part numbers I listed and I don’t have any reason to think they are anything other than as they came from Hurst. The set up looks to be for bench seats using the forward mounting pad on the trans. I can send pics of anything you need. I did find the original paper work/instructions.
