ignition compatibility ?

1970GTX with a petronix III billet distributor and flame thower III coil. question, will this work with a stock ignition box with the resistor bypassed

You do not need a stock ignition box with the Pertronix systems. You could unplug the box or remove it.

That distributor is a "stand alone" with a petronix unit in it.

Demonic is exactly correct... I have that same setup, also has built in rev limiter.
