I purchased a set of INDY cut to fit push rods at a local swap meets to go with a set of InDY roller rockers I have. Today I took them by my Local MOPAR machine shop to have them cut to the length I measured. They told me they wouldn't touch those push rods because of all the issues they have had with them. They claim they have cut hundreds of them before and about half of those crack after cutting and pressing in the tips. Has anyone had similar issues with these? Should I just junk them and fins another set? I only have 45 bucks in them so before I invest more I want to make sure they are worth the money.

Thanks

you can put the tips in the freezer before you press them in, slightly heat the tube & that makes the press fit easier, less chance of cracking them, when assembling them {I've never ever had any crack either}... I don't do my own Push-Rods anymore, I would rather just contact/call Smith Brothers {Bros.} Pushrods 1-800-367-1533 or @ www.pushrods.net/pushrods.html & order what I need now, they have an order form to pdf download/fill out what exactly you want & need, I prefer calling them over the Internet ordering personally, no hassles, no failures yet, reasonably priced too...
