Black dash. Color I can't figure out. 440 but no 6 pack. Thoughts?

What's is the VIN,do the body stamping match the VIN? it's not uncommon to see the original 383 get replaced by a 440.

Don't have access to it yet. Trying to do what detective work I can while waiting for a call back. Typical situation where the daughter is selling for the older dad who I cannot track down.

Rallye dash- check but
Shouldn't it be woodgrain?

Is that 1969.5 "spring special" green?

Taillight trim panel has black stripe not red.
That's kind of concerning.

Do those look like AC sliders but not an AC dash or firewall?

Did non AC SB have small radiator?

Any more pics?

Probably got a couple things wrong.
All I have concluded it the motor is not original but it appears to be a real mid level SuperBee.

Yep, she's been messed with.

The unknown three 3-digit codes are engine assy, rearend and brakes code, and trans assy code.
I don't have my book here, can't translate, unfortunately.

The car came with F8 dark green paint and green interior. Looks to be F6 now.

Pretty large number with non original drivetrain and a different color.
My thoughts exactly. Then again there's that madman asking 40K for a gutted V code roller just because the tag says triple black, and the ratty black one in Chicago on FB with no tag at all for 45K with a hole rusted through the rear par of the roof. I wouldn't be surprised to see this go for around 40K on Bringatrailer though. I was excite about this because it was close to my family so I could get it easily and play with it until I find the orange N96 440 6 pack car I really want.

Wrong door panels also. Should be a wood grain dash - all 1970 superbees were wood grain dash

According to MOPAR, yes. But more than a few guys on here bought them new off the lot or know someone who did and some came with a black dash. That aspect always immediately makes me think it's a poor clone but sometimes it isn't.

Not saying you’re wrong, but I’ve never heard of anyone saying “my 70 superbee came with a black dash.” I’ve also never seen a real one in person that had a back dash.

I'm just repeating what I have read on here.
