Is this legit 66 Belvedere

Yes it’s a better car than this orange one. 80 K isn’t going to happen. For 80K I’ll shop 1967 hemi GTX cars all day long over a 66 Belvedere.

Agreed,
seller knows 80k is to high,'thus make an offer .

BUT,, based on the market right now.

I personally dont think something with a 7 in front is out of line. ,,,for the red car btw

I personally know of three 66 Plymouth's sold recently and the cheapest one was low 60s. , other 2 were mid 70s. And all 3 condition wise were heads above this orange car by A LOT

As for mid 60s for this orange one. Not a chance .
IMO, mid 50s MAYBE , again, IMO only

I just read part of the BS story, I couldn’t stand to finish it. they say it didn’t come with a radio, but the fender tag calls for an AM radio.
The steel hood which they claim is the original is from a 1967 Plymouth. It has the holes in the underside for GTX scoops. A car built in April of 1966 couldn’t have these holes, they weren’t thought of or needed yet.

car now has:
67 wheel and horn
66 steering column
67 wiper arms
67 dash bezel
66 rear view mirrors
68 radiator
Mid 70’s iron water neck
Clutch fan
Electronic ignition
68 dog dish caps
No horns

They have no photos of the body and the hemi mods that tell it’s a true hemi car. No numbers from the engine so what is it? An original block? a mopar perf replacement? A 440 block with stage V heads?
No pics of the carbs and intake. No pics of the oil pan. No mention of headers or cast iron manifolds, but I can see headers on the pass side.

“4.10 gears installed from the factory are in the trunk” I’d like to see what the date is on these gears, would need to be before 3-1966 for this story to be true.

This car isn’t very good, it’s a put together hot rod with a hemi fender tag. Needs a close person inspection to see what is really going on with it.

The ORANGE paint was enough to kill it for me period! It doesn't go with style of car, I don't dislike orange but..... takes 10k off the price.

Were factory installed 4-10s even avail in 66 ?????

And , Agreed. the orange paint kills it , period . For most any one who is looking for that model hemi car

If that car sells at or near that price think it's time to sell my Satellite.

80k is not likely going to happen. Shame its at a consignment shop where its marked up pretty good over what the owner really wants for it.

BUT with todays market I think something in the 60s or low 70s of very possible. Especially to someone who doesnt want a common color combination
Red with red interior is a VERY good one . The car makes a good 1st impression. Appears to have a few nicks in the paint. But not hatefull. IMO the primary thing holding it back is the column auto. ,,,and the asking price.

IF , (( key word IF ,,,,,but im not btw )) in the market
I would take a look at it and start my offers in high $50s and stop somewhere mid,,,MAYBE upper $60s

IMO a few weekends on a lift doing some much needed touches on the bottom side would help this car IMMENSELY

There is a couple guys here in town on the hunt for a Hemi car with money to spend.
1st one would like a 4 spd car but a auto is not a deal breaker, price versus condition is . He likes this Red/Red car but feels the asking is to high of a starting point to work off of .

2nd guy has an agreed deal on a car ,,,I cant spill any beans on it just yet .

I'd like to know examples of car's run in the factory with rare paint colors.... this seems highly suspect to me. Factories run the colors they are running for the year for a reason. I'd also like to see the car that got 4.30 gears at the factory, and the factory threw the 3.23's in the trunk lol.

A lot of misinformation in that ad I’m afraid.

A Hemi convertible Satellite - I think you could probably do a little better Fan. You know the old car salesman axiom - when the top goes down, the price goes up.
